Terms of Service for Booth Companion PT

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of Booth Companion PT ("the Bot"), a Discord bot that helps Discord servers track BOOTH item prices and receive related notifications.

By adding, configuring, or using the Bot in a Discord server, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Bot and remove it from your server.

1. Description of the Bot

Booth Companion PT provides price tracking and notification features for BOOTH items. Depending on the commands and settings used in a server, the Bot may allow users or server administrators to:

• Add BOOTH items to a server-specific tracking list
• Remove or manage tracked items
• Configure a notification channel
• Configure a preferred currency
• Receive notifications related to tracked item prices
• Use commands related to tracked items and price information

The Bot is provided as a convenience tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by BOOTH, pixiv, Discord, or any marketplace shown through the Bot.

2. Eligibility and Discord Terms

You may only use the Bot if you are allowed to use Discord and comply with Discord’s own Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Terms, and other applicable rules.

The Bot operates through Discord’s platform. Your use of Discord remains governed by Discord’s own terms and privacy policy.

3. Server Administrator Responsibility

If you add the Bot to a Discord server, you confirm that you have the necessary permission to do so.

Server administrators are responsible for:

• Deciding whether the Bot should be used in their server
• Informing server members where appropriate
• Configuring the Bot correctly
• Choosing the Discord channel used for Bot notifications
• Removing the Bot if they no longer want it to operate in their server

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Bot to:

• Abuse, disrupt, overload, or attempt to damage the Bot or its services
• Circumvent rate limits, restrictions, or security measures
• Use the Bot for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or misleading purposes
• Interfere with other users’ or servers’ ability to use the Bot
• Attempt to access, extract, modify, or delete data you are not authorized to access
• Misrepresent the Bot as being officially affiliated with BOOTH, pixiv, Discord, or any other third party

5. Price Data and Accuracy

Price and item information may be delayed, cached, incomplete, unavailable, or incorrect. The Bot does not guarantee that price information is always current or accurate.

6. Availability

The Bot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

7. Changes to the Bot

We may update, modify, add, or remove features at any time.

8. Data and Privacy

The Bot stores limited data required to provide its features, such as Discord server IDs, channel IDs, user IDs related to certain actions, tracked BOOTH item IDs, guild settings, command usage logs, timestamps, success/error states, and cached item names.

9. Removing the Bot

A server administrator can stop use of the Bot by removing it from the Discord server.

10. Third-Party Services

The Bot depends on Discord and may use publicly available BOOTH-related item information.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Bot for any server or user if these Terms are violated.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
